The Traveler’s Fitness Challenge
Business trips, family vacations, and extended travel disrupt workout routines more than almost anything else. Hotel gyms are often limited to a treadmill and a few dumbbells, and many accommodations have no fitness facilities at all. The solution is a portable fitness kit that fits in your carry-on bag.
The Ultimate Travel Fitness Kit
These items collectively weigh under 3 pounds and take up less space than a laptop:
- Resistance band set (3-5 bands): Replaces dumbbells for upper body, adds challenge to lower body movements. Shop resistance bands
- Travel jump rope: 10 minutes of jumping equals 30 minutes of jogging for calorie burn.
- Exercise sliders (pair): Turn any carpeted or smooth floor into a core training station. Mountain climbers, hamstring curls, and lateral lunges on sliders are brutally effective.
- Door anchor: Converts a hotel room door into a cable machine when combined with resistance bands.
